Here is what we will be making :
Supplies Needed :
Paint Shop Pro X2 (Any version should work)
Tube Of Choice - I used the very talented work of Ismael Rac , you can now purchase his work @ Ismael Rac
Scrapkit - So Rock Blue By Tamie @ Addictive Pleasures
Template 106 By Tamie @ Addictive Pleasures
Plugins Used :
Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow (Optional)
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow (Optional)
Xero - Radiance (Optional)
Font Used :
Halo Handletter
Elements Used :

Lets Begin :
Start by opening your template 106 -
Go to your layers pallet - delete the credit & background layers.
Now click on Raster 5 layer - then go to Selections - click Select All - then Selections again & click Float - then go to Selections again & click Defloat -
Now open P11 - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then go to Selections & click Invert . Then on your keyboard press your delete key 1 time. Then go back to Selections & click Select None.
Now go to Effects - click Plugins - then click Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow
(You can use my settings below or your own, the choice is always yours)
Click Ok.
Now go to Effects - click 3D Effects - then click Drop Shadow.
Then click Ok.
Now go to your layers pallet & delete your original Raster 5 layer.
Now follow those same steps for the layers listed below , only each time use a different paper. I will list the papers I used for each layer. Remember to apply your Gradient Glow & Drop Shadow to each layer. Then delete the original of each layer.
Raster 11 - Paper 6
Raster 3 - Paper 11
Raster 16 - Paper 12
Raster 2 - Paper 4 (Do not add a gradient glow or drop shadow to this layer)
Copy Of Raster 2 - Paper 1 (Do not add a gradient glow or drop shadow to this layer)
Raster 4 - Paper 11
Now on the following layers - go to Adjust - Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise
Set to Uniform, 100 & make sure your Monochrome box is checked, then click Ok. Once you have added the noise make sure you also apply a drop shadow.

Now in your layers pallet - click on Raster 10 layer - go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat -
Now make a new raster layer - activate your flood fill tool, set your background color to #0c6cd8, now using your flood fill tool click inside your marching ants.
Then go to Selections & click Select None.
Go to Adjust - click Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise
Set to Uniform, 50 & make sure your Monochrome box is checked & click Ok.
Now go to Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow. Use the same settings as you used above.
Now apply a drop shadow - using the same settings as before.
Now in your layers pallet - click on your Raster 15 layer - go to Effects - click Plugins - then click Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow.
You can use my settings below or your own.
Now open your tube of choice - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then re-size it if needed.
Position to your liking.
Then go to Effects - Plugins - Xero - Radiance
You can use my settings or your own.
Then go back to Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow
Same settings as before.
Now apply a drop shadow using the same settings you used previously.
Now in your layers pallet - click on your Raster 7 layer - go to Adjust - click Add/Remove Noise - then set it to Uniform, 100 then make sure your Monochrome box is checked. Then click Ok.
Apply a drop shadow to this layer.
Now click on Raster 9 & apply the same Noise & drop shadow settings.
Then click on Raster 8 - Go to Effects - click 3D Effects - Inner Bevel -
You can use my settings below or your own -
Then click Ok
Now lets add some elements -
Open your Text element - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then re-size it to 75%. Now position it to your liking.
Go to Effects - click Plugins - then click Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow
You can use my settings or your own -
Then click Ok.
Now apply a drop shadow. Use the same settings you used previously.
Now open your Text 2 element - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then go to Image - click Free Rotate - set it to Left 90.00 & click Ok.
Now position it to your liking.
Then go to Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow - use the same settings as you used on your first Text element.
Apply a drop shadow.
Open your Winged Skull element - Copy & Paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then re-size it to 35%. Position it to your liking.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.
Now go to your layers pallet - right click on your Winged Skull layer - then click Duplicate .Now go to Image & click Free Rotate - set to Left 30.00 & click Ok.
Now position it to the left side of your template.
Open your Star element - Copy & Paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then re-size it to 30%. Position to your liking.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow
Open your Beads 2 element - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then position it to your liking.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow
Now open your Beads element - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then position to your liking.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow
Open your Glitter Trail element - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then re-size it to 80%. Position it to the top of your template.
Sharpen & apply a slight drop shadow.
Now go to your layers pallet - right click on your Glitter Trail layer - then click Duplicate. Now go to Image & click Flip.
Use your move tool to position if needed.
Now open your Heart 3 element - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then re-size it to 30%. Then go to Image - click Free Rotate set to Left 30.00 & click Ok.
Position to your liking.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow
Then go to your layers pallet - right click on your Heart 3 layer - then click Duplicate. Then go to Image & click Mirror.
Go back to your layers pallet - right click on your duplicated Heart 3 layer & click Duplicate again. Now go back to Image & click Flip.
Use your move tool to adjust the position if needed.
Open your Music Notes 2 element - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then position to your liking. Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.
Go to your layers pallet - Move your Music Notes 2 layer down below your tube layer.
In your layers pallet - click on the very top layer in the layers pallet -
Open your Boom Box element - Copy & Paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then re-size it to 50%. Position to your liking.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.
Open your Ribbon 2 element - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then re-size it to 70%. Position it to the lower left of your template.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.
Now go to your layers pallet - right click on your Ribbon 2 layer - then click Duplicate , now go to Image & click Mirror. Use your move tool to adjust the position if needed.
Open your Skull element - Copy & Paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then re-size it to 50%. Position it to your liking.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.
Now go to your layers pallet - right click on your Skull layer - then click Duplicate. Now use your move tool to adjust the position of your duplicated Skull element to your liking.
Open your Glitter element - Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - then position it to the upper left corner of your template. Then go to your layers pallet - right click on your Glitter layer -then click Duplicate. Now go to Image & click Mirror.
Back in your layers pallet - right click on your duplicated Glitter layer - then click Merge - then click Merge Down.
Now still in your layers pallet - move your newly Merged Glitter layer down so that it is the last layer in your layers pallet.
Now right click on your Merged Glitter layer - then click Duplicate. Go to Image & click Mirror.
Use your move tool to adjust the position if needed.
Now open your Sparkles of choice & place them to your liking.
Now activate your text tool - set your Font, Size & Color.
I used :
Font : Halo Handletter
Size : 200 Pixels (This size depends on the length of your name, adjust accordingly)
Background Color : I used 2 different colors , they are as follows
#0c6cd8
#000000
Foreground Color : Set to nul
Now click on your canvas to open your text box, then type out your name,then while your text box is still open, highlight your first letter, open your color pallet, type in the color code # you wish to use. Then, highlight the next letter, then open your color pallet, type in the color code # you wish to use, continue to do this until you have your name the way you want it.
Once you are happy, click Apply. Now position your name to your liking.
Then go to your layers pallet - right click on your name layer & click Convert To Raster Layer.
Then go to Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow
Click Ok , then apply a drop shadow.
Then you will need to add your copyright/credit information along with your license #. Its very important not to forget this step.
Once you have everything added, go to your layers pallet - right click on any layer - then click Merge - then click Merge Visible.
Now activate your Crop tool - crop off any access canvas that you did not use. (If you don't have any to crop off that is fine too.)
Then you may need to re-size your tag depending on where you are going to be using it .
Once I re-size my tag I like to apply one final sharpen. If you would like to do that as well you should do that now.
Now all that is left is to save your tag as a PNG file & you have completed this tutorial!!♥
