***Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental & completely unintentional!!**

Supplies Needed :

Paint Shop Pro X2 (Any Version Should Work)

Tube Of Choice : I used the amazing work of Jasmine Becket-Griffith , I purchased my tube when she was with CILM, but that has sense closed , she is currently selling her tubes @ Creative Design Outlet (CDO)
Scrapkit : Belle Envy By Sweet Diva Dzigns @ Butterfly Blush
Mask Of Choice

Font : Splendid ES
Size : 55 Pixels
Color : Black (#000000)

Font For Copyright/Credit Info
Pixelette
Size : 13 Pixels
Color : Black (#000000)

Elements Used :
(These are not in any specific order, to open all elements at once, click on your first element, then before you click on then next press & hold your Ctrl key, then click on all the elements you wish to use, then click Open. Then they will all open at once instead of having to open each on individually! :-)
Ribbon3
Tag1
Gembrad1
Butterfly 1 & 2
Fabric Flowers 1 & 2
DoubleBow 2
Frame 1
Papers 4 & 11

Lets Begin :
First off I would like to explain a few effects that I use often through out my tutorials. If you have do not know how to apply a drop shadow, sharpen, and or resize your tag, this information will help you. If you already know, then skip this part and move on :-)

To re-size your elements :
Go to Image, click Re-size, set your Pixel Dimensions to what the tutorial calls for OR your own personal preference. The screen shot below shows what your re-size settings should be for your first element to re-size in this tutorial which is your frame1. There will be another screen shot at the end of this tutorial that will show you the settings for re-sizing your entire completed tag :-)
To apply a drop shadow - Go to Effects, click 3D Effects, then from the slide out menu & click Drop Shadow. You can always use your own settings, or if you would like you are welcome to use my settings below. These are basically the settings I use for everything I add a drop shadow to. But every designer has their own preference. So these are not mandatory settings, so feel free to play around with them til you find the ones you prefer the best :-)

To sharpen an element, go to Adjust, click Sharpness then click Sharpen.

Now on to designing our tag :-)
Start by opening a new 800 X 650 transparent canvas. (Don't worry we will crop it later)

Now open your Frame 1 element, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas ,then re-size it to 65%.
Now activate your magic wand tool by clicking on it, then click the canvas that is on the inside of your frame.
Go to Selections & click Modify, then from the slide out menu click Expand, set your number of pixels to 5 & click Ok.
Now make a new raster layer :
Open Paper 4, copy & paste it INTO Selection. Now go to Selections & click Select None. Then go to your layers pallet & move your Paper 4 layer down below your Frame 1 layer.
Click on your Frame 1 layer in your layers pallet & go to Adjust, click Sharpness then click Sharpen.
Now apply a drop shadow to your frame.
Now open your Double Bow 2 element, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas ,then re-size it to 80%. Now using your move tool position your Double Bow 2 element to the top of your frame, and place it in the center of your frame.

Now open your Fabric Flower 1 element, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas ,then re-size it to 50%. Now using your move tool position it to the lower right side of your frame.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.

Now open your Fabric Flower 2 element, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas ,re-size it to 50%. Use your move tool & position your Flower Fabric 2 element to the lower right side of your frame.
In your layers pallet move your Fabric Flower 2 layer below your Fabric Flower 1 layer.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.
Now in your layers pallet, right click on your Fabric Flower 2 layer & click Duplicate. Now use your move tool & position your duplicated flower to the other side of your first flower. (use my tag as reference if you need to.)
Now in your layers pallet, right click on your top fabric flower layer, then click Merge, then from slide out menu click Merge Down. Continue to merge down until all 3 of your Fabric Flower layers become 1.
Now right click on your merged fabric flower layer, & click Duplicate, then go to Image & click Mirror.

Now open your Butterfly 2 element, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas  , then re-size it to 35%. Go to Image & click Mirror. Now position where you would like it.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.

Now open your Butterfly 1 element, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas ,then re-size it to 35%. Position it using your move tool where you would like it.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.

Open Ribbon 3, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas ,then re-size it to 50%. Now using your move tool position your ribbon to the left side of your frame.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.
Now in your layers pallet, right click on your Ribbon 3 layer & click Duplicate. Now go to Image & click Mirror. Use your move tool to adjust the position of the duplicated ribbon if needed.

Now open your tube, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas, then re-size it to 70% (this size will depend on what tube you are using, so you may need to adjust your re-sizing a bit depending on your tube) Now position your tube center in your frame. (See my tag for example if needed)
Now go to your layers pallet, & move your tube layer below all of your flower & ribbon layers except for the double bow layer.
Now right click on your tube layer, then click duplicate, then go to Adjust, click Blur, then from the slide out menu click Gaussian Blur, set to 3.00 & click Ok.
Now go to the top of your layers pallet & change your Blend Mode to Overlay.
Again in your layers pallet, click on your original tube layer (bottom tube layer) & apply a drop shadow.

Now click back on the last layer in your layers pallet,
Open paper 11, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas ,then go to Layers, click Load/Save Mask, then from the slide out menu click Load Mask From Disk. Now choose your mask, & click Load.
Now go to your layers pallet , right click on your mask layer, then click Merge, then from the slide out menu click Merge Group.
Now I re-sized my mask to 70%. But again this will depend on what mask you use.

Now click back on your top layer in your layers pallet,
Open your gembrad2 element, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas ,then re-size it to 65%. Position it to the center of your bow on the left side of your frame.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.
Go to your layers pallet, right click on your gembrad2 layer & click duplicate. Now using your move tool move your duplicated gembrad2 element to the right side & center it in the bow on the right.

Now open Tag 1, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas ,then re-size it to 65%. Go to Image & click Free Rotate, set to Left 50.00 & click Ok.
Now position your Tag 1 at the bottom of your frame in the center.
Sharpen & apply a drop shadow.

Now activate your text tool by click on it.
Type out the name you wish to put on your tag.
Now go to Image & click Free Rotate, set to Right 35.00 & click Ok.
Now position your name on your Tag 1 element.
Apply a drop shadow to your name layer.
The font I used is posted above under supplies needed.

Now apply all copyright & credit information that is required on your tag. Again the font I used for this is posted above under supplies needed.

Once you have everything the way you want it, go to your layers pallet, right click on any layer & then click Merge, then from slide out menu click Merge Visible.
Now activate your crop tool, crop off any access canvas that we did not use. Be careful not to crop to close to your tag. If you make a mistake be sure to click your undo button until you are back to before you made the error.

Once your tag is cropped you will want to re-size your tag. Below is a screen shot of the settings I used for my tag. You can adjust them as you need to for where you will be using them.
I only have to adjust the width & height under where it says Pixel Dimensions. Then make sure it is set to pixels within that area. Then at the bottom where it says "Re-size all layers". Make sure that box IS checked!

Now once I re-size my completed tag I like to sharpen it one more time, so if you would like to do so as well, just go to Adjust, click Sharpness then click Sharpen.

Save your tag as PNG & your done!!

Thanks for trying my tutorial, I would love to see what you have made, so please feel free to email me & include a copy of your tag!!
