♥Happy Easter PTU♥

Here is what we will be making :

**Please remember that my tutorials are made using my own Ditzy noggin, any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, and 100% unintentional.**

**Please click on the tag to see its original size, & the animation**

Supplies Needed :

PaintShop Pro X2 (Any version should work)
Animation Shop

Tube of choice :  I used the amazing work of Elias Chatzoudis , You must have a license to use his work. You can purchase his tubes at PTE

Scrapkit : Spring Fling By Tammy's Scraps

Animation Of Choice : I used an animation made by TallChic, you can download it HERE.

Mask Of Choice

Font : Galicia Size 200 pixels Color #f599c7
Helen Script ES Size 50 Color : #ffffff (Black)

Elements Used :

Paper 3
Element 110
Element 5
Element 87
Element 89
Element 13
Element 33

**Note, so that I don't have to type it out each time I say it I am going to give directions here as to how to re-size something. You can do this one of two ways. You can either go to Image, and click Re-size. Or you can use your Shift & S keys on your keyboard and that will also bring up your re-size menu.**

Lets Begin :

Open a new 800 x 650 canvas (Transparent)

Activate your Paint Bucket Tool (by clicking on it) then set your Foreground color to white (#ffffff) and then click anywhere on your blank canvas. Now you will have a white background, which normally works best for animated tags. Atleast for me!

Now activate your text tool, set your Font to Galicia, Size 90 pixels and your color of choice. I used #f599c7 for mine. Remember to close out your Foreground color in your materials pallet.

Now on your canvas, click some where in the middle and that will bring up your text box. Type out the name you desire to be on your tag.
Now go to Objects, click Align then click Center in canvas.
Now in your layers pallet, right click on your name layer and click Convert To Raster Layer.

Now go to Effects, click Plug-ins, then click on Eye Candy 4, then click Gradient Glow and you can use the following settings or you can use your own settings, it is totally up to you.
My settings are as follows :
Glow Width - 4.00
Soft Corners - 25
Overall Opacity - 100
Draw only outside selection box IS checked.
Click Ok.

Now go to Effects, and click 3D Effects, then apply the following drop shadow (Again you can use your own settings if you so choose)
Offset Vertical 3
Horizontal - 3
Attributes Opacity 60
Blur 5.00
Color : Black (#000000)
Shadow on new layer UNChecked.
Click Ok.

Now activate your magic wand tool by clicking on it, and then you need to click on each letter in the name that you are using for your tag.
Go to Effects > click 3D Effects > Click Inner Bevel
(Again you can use my settings below or use your own)

Click Ok.
Now with your name still selected with the "marching ants", go to Adjust, click Add/Remove Noise, then click Add Noise from the slide out menu, then set your settings :
Uniform
Noise 30
Monochrome CHECKED
then click Ok.

Now on your keyboard use your Ctrl & D keys to deselect. OR You can click on Selections then click Select None.

Now lets start adding some elements :

Open Element 110, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas, then in your layers pallet right click on your Element 110 layer, and click Duplicate, then move your duplicated Element 110 layer below your name layer. (To move a layer in your layers pallet, left click and hold your mouse button while dragging the layer you want to move either up or down, when it is where you want it just release your mouse button.)

Now click on your TOP Element 110 layer, then activate your move tool, and move your top element 110 (grass) so that it looks like your name is sitting in the grass.

On your bottom grass layer (which is the duplicated element 110 layer) apply a small drop shadow.

Now open your Element 160
Once it is open, go to Image, and click Mirror.
Then copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas.
Use your move tool and position it to your liking.
Go to your layers pallet and move your Element 160 (Rainbow) layer down below your name layer. But keep it above your duplicated Element 110 (grass) layer.

Still in your layers pallet, right click on your Element 160 layer and click Duplicate. (Do NOT move this element or layer) It was duplicated to make it look a touch darker :-)

Now apply a very slight drop shadow to the bottom Element 160 (rainbow) layer.

Now open your Element 5, copy & paste as a new layer onto your canvas, then re-size it to 10%.
In your layer pallet move this layer to the very top of all of the layers.
Now on your canvas use your move tool and position your Element 5 (bow) anywhere you would like it on your name.

Now go to Adjust, click Sharpness then click Sharpen.
Apply a drop shadow.

Now open Element 6, copy & paste as a new layer onto your canvas, then re-size it to 10%.
Using your move tool position your Element 6 (bow) anywhere you would like it on your name.
Go to Adjust, click Sharpness, then click Sharpen.
Apply a drop shadow.

Open Element 87, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas, then re-size it to 10%.
Go to Image, click Mirror.
Then go to Adjust, click Sharpness, then click Sharpen.
Apply drop shadow.
Use your move tool and position your Element 87 where you would like it to go, and then go to Image, click Free Rotate set to Left 20.00 and click Ok.

Now open Element 89, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas, then re-size it to 10%.
Use your move tool and move your element 89 where you would like it to be.
Go to Adjust, click Sharpness, then click Sharpen.
Apply a drop shadow.

Now lets open Element 13. Copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas , re-size it to 10%.
Using your move tool again move your bunny where you would like it.
Once its where you want it, go to Adjust, click Sharpness, then click Sharpen.
Apply a drop shadow.

In your layers pallet, right click on your Element 13 (bunny) layer and click Duplicate. Then go to Image and click Mirror. Use your move tool and position your Duplicated bunny to where you would like it to be.

Open your Element 33, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas, re-size it to 10%, then using your move tool again position it where you would like it to be.
In your layers pallet move this layer below your grass layers but keep it above your name layer.
Now go to Adjust, click Sharpness then click Sharpen.
Apply a drop shadow.
Now in your layers pallet right click on your Element 33 and click Duplicate, then position it using your move tool where you would like it to be. Keep duplicating this layer and then positioning each element where you would like it to be and for how ever many you want them to be of this element.

Now open your tube layer of choice, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas, if you are using the same tube that I am you will want to re-size it to 50%. (If you are using a different tube you will need to re-size it to whatever looks good for your tube)
Now in your layer pallet move your tube layer down so that it is under your name & 1st grass layer.
Then right click on your tube layer, and click Duplciate.
Then go to Adjust, click Blur, then click Gaussian Blur set to 3.00 and click Ok.

Now change your blend mode to Overlay. (See 2 screen shots below)

Then on the bottom (original) tube layer apply a drop shadow.
Now activate your text tool again, set your font to Helen Script ES, Size 90 pixels, and color of your choice. I used black (#000000).
Type out whatever phrase you want it to say, I used "Happy Easter"

Now go to your layers pallet, and right click on your name layer, and click Convert to raster layer.

Now go to Effects, click Plug-ins, then find your Eye Candy 4 and click on Gradient Glow.
Change your Glow Width to 3 and click Ok.

Apply a drop shadow.

In your layers pallet click the very last layer , then open Paper 3, copy & paste it as a new layer onto your canvas, then go to Layers and click Load/Save Mask. Then click Load Mask From Disk. Click Ok.

Now in layers pallet, right click on your mask layer and click Merge, then click Merge Group.
Now re-size your mask to 85%.
(If you need to use your move tool and position your mask where ever you would like it to be)

Now you will need to add any copyright & credit information.

Go to your layers pallet and right click on any layer and click Merge, then from the slide out menu click Merge Visible.

If you wish not to animate you can re-size your tag and save as a png.

If you would like to animate you can continue on.

Open your Animation Shop
While you are in your animation shop go to file click Open, and find your animation you downloaded from TallChics blog earlier. Once it is open, click on the first frame and then using the keys on your keyboard press Ctrl & A to select all the frames.(OR you can go to Edit, and click on Select All) There is 29 frames all together. Once you select them all you will see a blue outline around each frame.
Now once you have that step done, go back to your PSP, go to Edit, and click Copy.
Then go back to your Animation Shop, and in a blank area in your Animation Shop work spot (grey area) right click then click Paste As New Animation.

Now you will see your tag in your Animation Shop.
Now we need 29 frames of your tag, so using your Ctrl & L keys on your keyboard, hold down the Ctrl key and press your L key until you have 29 frames. You can see how many frames you have by looking in the lower left corner of your Animation Shop. Once you get 29 frames of your tag, you need to select all 29 of those frames, so use your Ctrl & A keys again to select all, OR go to Edit, and click Select All.

Now right click on your 1st animation frame, click Copy, then go to your tag frames, and right click on the 1st. frame of your tag and click Paste, then click "Paste Into Selected Frame".
(Be careful not to left click on your tag or animation as that will unselect all 29 of your frames. You must have ALL frames selected so that when you paste your animation in frame 1 it will also paste it to the rest of the 29 frames.)

Now wait until you see your animation show up, it normally shows in the middle of your tag, do not click on your tag yet, move your mouse (without clicking) until your animation is where you want it to be, then once you have it where you want it, then left click and that will place it where you want it.
Now for this tag I pasted the animation 3 times on each side of the rainbow.
So once you get the first animation set, all you have to do is right click, click paste, then click "Into Selected Frame".
Keep doing that until you have all the animation where you want it to go. If you make a mistake, just hit your undo button in animation shop and do it again.
Once you have all your animation set, click on View Animation, (it is at the top right hand side, hold your mouse over each button and it will tell you what that button is for. The View Animation button is the second one from the end.)

If your animation & tag appears the way you want it, you might want to re-size your tag at this time.
To re-size in Animation Shop, use your Shift & S keys on your keyboard  and your Re-Size menu will open. Set your size to what you will need it for where ever you are using it. Click Ok.
Now go to File, click Save As, and save your tag as a gif file.

Thats it! You have completed this tutorial!

As always if you have done any of my tutorials I would love to see what you have made, so please feel free to email me and make sure you send your completed tag as well and I will display it on my blog.
